How to Show Someone That They Are Loved

Never take for granted that love is understood. Show and tell the people you care about exactly how you feel.

Steps

1. 
   Do something nice for the one you love to show how much you appreciate him or her.
   
   
2. 
   Learn about the things your loved one likes. If you can't stand any of their interests, try do something neutral together.
3. 
   When your partner is telling you about his/her day, give him or her support if it's needed.
4. 
   Be the first to apologize when you have a fight.
5. 
   Avoid "always" and "never" comments, especially when used in critical comments. If you feel upset, try to calm down and consider what is the most difficult for you. When you bring these things to the attention of your partner, do it with an honest spirit of love.
6. 
     In an argument use 'I' messages, "I felt really hurt when you said..."
7. Never go against the one you love, right or wrong. Always let others know there is strength in not only numbers, but in love, too. Allow yourself an opinion but don't start war over it.
