Sanusi Ado Bayero Named New Emir of Kano

Sanusi Ado Bayero, the first son of the late Emir of Kano, has been named as the new Emir to replace his father, Ado Abdullahi Bayero, who passed away at age 83 last Friday.

Sanusi reportedly holds a Law degree from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.
An official announcement of the new Emir’s appointment is yet to be made, however; reports indicate that the announcement will be made later today.
